OZARK CENTER Performance Behavioral Health Coach in Joplin, Missouri
**PERFORMANCE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH COACH - Exciting new full-time opportunity responsible for delivering comprehensive behavioral health services within a university athletic program setting. This role involves integrating mental health support in an athletic environment to optimize athletes performance and overall mental well-being. Service provision will be to athletes impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve may have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment as athletes and individuals. The therapist will be an integral part of the sports program staff, providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, consultation, community education, and performance enhancement strategies to the athletes and staff. Requires a Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Professional Counseling and licensed in the State of Missouri. Preferred experience: 1 year providing behavioral health services. 2 years providing therapy, preferably with a focus on athletes or high-performance individuals.
