*Your Key Responsibilities*

• Plans and implements engineering projects, including defining the project, activities, milestones, and staff requirements, per customer requirements.
• Establish procedures for product cost estimation, including data accumulation and cost estimate preparation. Develops new product cost projects.
• Obtain estimates from internal and external suppliers through the purchasing group.
• Support teammates in cross-functional teams to maximize the efficiency of the Costing group.
• Maintain internal requirements and research possibilities of new internal and external suppliers.
• Assist the planning function and the purchasing personnel at all levels in establishing inventory control systems.
• Compiles information from periodicals, catalogs, and other sources to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Obtains data for cost analysis studies by determining manufacturing costs within divisions of company.

*Your Qualifications*

Minimum Qualifications

• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university
• Strong analytical skills, being able to identify trends and opportunities
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency in meeting customer expectations and delivering results.

Preferred

• Strong organizational, motivation, and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar environment
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Six Sigma training a strong plus
• Ability to travel up to 25% for plant
