Our Material/Production Planner/Analyst is responsible for planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing of Martin Baker America product lines. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

Key responsibilities include:

Production Planning and Control

  1. Data Management and Configuration Control:

    • Create and maintain material master data.
    • Maintain configuration control processes.
  2. Scheduling and Routing:

    • Develop master schedules to sequence operations and manage lead times.
    • Develop and maintain production routings and bill of materials.
  3. Capacity Planning and Analysis:

    • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity to plan material requirements.
    • Develop forecasts and shortage reports to optimize production planning.

Production Execution and Coordination

  1. Material Release and Inventory Management:

    • Release materials and authorize production activities to meet schedules.
    • Maintain control of product line inventory through accurate tracking.
  2. Expediting and Rework Planning:

    • Expedite production flows and adjust schedules to meet delivery targets.
    • Perform rework planning activities related to production processes.
  3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Maintain the Serial Number Log to ensure unique identifiers and traceability.
    • Ensure completion of Contract Review Form to meet customer requirements.
  4. Communication and Coordination:

    • Coordinate production activities with supervisors and department leads.
    • Communicate material needs with Purchasing for timely procurement.
  5. Delivery Coordination and Reporting:

    • Submit FGRR (Finished Goods Receiving Report) and initiate delivery processes.
    • Brief production status at meetings and provide updates as necessary.
