Manages the Manufacturing & Sustainment Division of EVC, with extensive professional experience working in the field of production management, project management, manufacturing engineering, and mechanical engineering design. The Manufacturing & Sustainment Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, establishing product pricing, and working closely with engineering, production planning, quality assurance, assembly technicians and sales to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the products support the company's overall strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support in functions including but not limited to:

• Work with President to define the product strategy and roadmap based on customer feedback and market trends.

• Support EVC staff, CTC staff for matters related to product transition to EVC.

• Inform the Integrated Product Team on prioritized features and corresponding justification.

• Develop and communicate the core positioning, value proposition, and focused messaging for the product.

• Deliver a monthly revenue and funded awards forecast.

• Propose an overall budget to ensure success.

• Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.

• Production contracts accountability including proposal writing, contract negotiation support, and contract execution.

• Accountable for production contract performance including technical, schedule and budget and responsible for human resources required to perform production contract activities and the procurement, management, and scheduling.

• Acting Line Manager with supporting staff of engineers, production schedulers, inventory specialists and assembly technicians.

• Provides engineering support for product and process design as needed.

• Acts as a technical liaison to subcontractors and associate contractors additionally assisting in the identification of subcontract sources of supply and supports procurement activity.

• Responsible for technical interaction with clients and vendors. Likely to require travel for these interactions and other meetings as required.

• Contributing author for Contract Deliverable technical reports and technical data packages.

• Responsible for the preparation of System Engineering Packages, Engineering Technical Drawing Packages and Assembly/ Disassembly Procedures.

• Maintain positive business relations with Government and commercial clients.

• Assisted with DCMA Audits | Main POC for DCMA/DCAA Production Contract deliverables.

• Assists in the development of sales tools and collateral.

• Perform special tool product demos and deliver capability briefs to prospective customers.

• Identify and work with suppliers and vendors to manage costs and ensure an effective supply chain.

• Educate and oversee sales.

• Possess a keen awareness and understanding of the market conditions and competition.

• Oversee and manage support activities to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

• Serve as a leader within the company.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly or frequently talking, hearing, touching, grasping, standing, walking, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement

• Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force.

• Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, ability to identify and distinguish colors, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus to review test results, view PC screen, read technical manuals.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise level (i.e. computers, printers, etc.).

• Indoor temperature-controlled office environment.

• This position is safety sensitive.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field, preferably Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 8-10 years line management and program management experience, as well as 8-10 years technical experience in manufacturing or similar scientific background.
