Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Manufacturing Lead to oversee a team of operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the hazardous resin production line, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising a team of operators, monitoring production processes, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and product quality. The role demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting, with the ability to swiftly identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety. As escalations happen, this role will entail the requirement to operate heavy machinery alongside the operators.

Skills and Requirements

High School degree required or equivalent

4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to operate motorized material handling equipment such as, but not limited to, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach truck, scissor lift

Has extensive safety experience with procedures such as lock-out tag out-

Competency and confidence utilizing applicable computerized systems such as MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, SAP

Solid verbal and written communication skills. Experience in a regulated environment (ie; pharmaceutical, food processing, chemical) null
