Citizens Compensation Consultant in Johnston, Rhode Island

Description

The Compensation Consultant partners with leaders and human resources in the assigned business to develop, implement, and administer compensation programs. The senior consultant will provide guidance and streamlined solutions for compensation matters including design, administration, communication, and governance.

In this role, the senior consultant will conduct analyses of compensation data, model financial and organizational impact of programs, and assist in the translation of business strategies to effective compensation programs. In this role the senior consultant will work independently to execute evaluations and collaborate with others to share strategies and best practices for effective outcomes.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business leaders and human resources business partners to understand compensation needs of the business.

  • Completes market assessments and internal equity reviews.

  • Provides support for pay programs including annual pay cycle including bonus and salary recommendations.

  • Creates and explains financial models of compensation practices.

  • Assist with incentive plan governance, reporting, documentation, and analysis.

  • Completes equity evaluations and partners with recruiters to make recommendations for new hire offers.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1+ years of Compensation experience

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably financial services

  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and confident to work independently as well as a strong team player.

  • Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access

Education, Certification and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Research compensation related issues and provide recommendations, substantiations, and possible alternatives.

Hours and Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Hybrid 3 days in the Johnston RI office
