We have cattle that will need cared for through the winter months, from December to the end of March. They will be on rented cornstalks and moved to a dry lot until I send them to pasture. They will also be on milo stalks and a few wheat fields. From there I lease them out in the spring through fall until the next winter. Duties include tending to the cattle while on cornstalks, checking their water tanks, and doctoring when needed. In February the cows will need to be hauled to a dry lot where they will need hay daily. We also start our preparation for calving. When they start calving, cows will need to be checked a minimum of 3 times a day. Employees duties will include assisting with pulling a calf, doctoring babies, and tagging calves after birth. In March, they will get branded and get another vaccination before they are sent to summer pasture or sold. Employees will complete general farm duties as assigned. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employers discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employers discretion.

Employer-provided Housing

Family housing not available. Housing will be clean and meet applicable Fed, State and local housing standards. Workers must maintain neat and clean housing. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to their place of residence the same day. If both male and female workers are hired: separate toilet, bathing and sleeping rooms will be provided.

Employer is not a H-2ALC. Employees will be provided with an employer owned vehicle to drive to and from work and to town for errands. Daily transportation schedule will coincide with the work schedule outlined on this application, or as agreed upon between employer and employee based on seasonal demands and/or workload. A different vehicle(s) may be provided which meets all DOT requirements if the following is no longer available. The vehicle provided will be a 2012 F-250 truck, 2105 F-250
