TEKsystems has an opportunity for a contract-to-hire Linux Engineer position with a large healthcare client in Northeast Tennesee. This position will be primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits for significant projects, so the ideal candidate would live within driving distance of the area. Our client is looking for an exp erienced Linux Engineer who can perform duties such as backups, patching, scripting, storage migrations, and code upgrades. Some upcoming projects include hardware replacement, Linux system upgrades, evaluations, and migrations. Top Skills:

1 Strong experience with and knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS- Patching

2 Strong experience working with Ansible (rail) and Grafana. Writing scripts/Managing storage

3 Experience with backup and disaster recovery (Dell EMC)

Nice to have/Bonuses:

• Healthcare experience

• Windows Server Support

• XIO, powerstore, SAN, Iris database for Epic

• Epic EMR knowledge or experience

Example of Job Duties:

This person will be responsible for duties such as backups, patching, scripting, storage migrations, and code upgrades. Some additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to working with analysts regarding the backend Iris database, working with Ansible, grafana, disaster recovery, XIO, powerstore, SAN, windows server support, Dell EMC storage, rail upgrades, and maintenance. Some projects they have on the roadmap include but are not limited to hardware replacement, migrations, Linux system upgrades, and evaluations, patching, upgrading and evaluating their Ansible and Grafana environment, code upgrades, and OS migrations.
