The Senior Applications Consultant should possess extensive experience in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors. This position is responsible for testing and troubleshooting the functionality of the installed enterprise applications and/or systems by identifying and documenting technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. The individual in this role will starts to independently plan, design and implement the more complex assigned enterprise applications and/or systems. The individual will be required to perform most of the tasks defined by the project, gathering facts, analyzing client requirements and designing solutions that demonstrate the functionality to support the findings. He/she will manage small engagements or a portion of a large engagement when required. The successful candidate will be involved both project work and support assignment and mentorship of juniors.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, improves and shares knowledge gained on technical or functional skills, consulting skills and business experience with team on projects, managed services and internally.

  • Perform project-defined tasks and drives issues to closure.

  • Reviews facts and analyses client business requirements, including process.

  • Design the solution and demonstrate functional to support the findings.

  • Deliver timely and quality consulting to the client.

  • Performs all documentation and administrative tasks in line with the PMO templates and standards.

  • Prepare business process procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals.

  • Highlight potential project or solution risks and issues to team leads/project management.

  • Proactively supports clients with audit requirements and facilitates testing and sign-off workshops.

  • Facilities meetings/ task groups, tracking and influencing task group progress and project delivery as well as delivering progress reports.

  • Provides coaching and training to junior team members internally and in a project environment.

  • Undertakes regular reviews of project activities for the assigned areas.

  • Reviews process design and facilitates configuration workshops with the client.

  • Prepare test scenarios related to the business processes and complete functional testing, application configuration and data migration duties.

  • Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems.

  • As a senior resource, should be able and willing to mentor juniors within the team

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • In depth knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and HCM

  • SAP SuccessFactors experience on projects and support on Talent Modules

  • SAP ECC HCM experience.

  • SAP EEC / SSF replication experience

  • Applies advanced wide-ranging experience and in-depth professional knowledge to develop and resolve complex models and procedures in creative ways

  • Directs the application of existing principles and guides development of new policies and ideas

  • Determines own methods and procedures on new assignments

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs

  • Excellent understanding of the business process

  • Excellent project and/or program management skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

  • The ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the delivery of business transformation

  • Good creativity and the ability to work with abstract concepts

  • Extensive knowledge of systems, software and programming languages

  • Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills

  • Ability to facilitate and document workflow redesign

  • Excellent client service orientation

  • Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels

  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations

  • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business

  • Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications in Employee Central (EC), Performance and Goals (P&G), Succession and Development, Recruiting
