ManpowerGroup Senior Java Developer in Jersey City, New Jersey

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of the EFT Risk & Internal Audit department supporting the Software Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (hybrid)

Pay Range: $70-75 per hour (on Experis' W2)

Due to client rules, all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2; we are unable to work with 3rd parties / sub-contracting companies

What's the Job?

  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.

  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.

  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

  • Develop Java applications using Java 11/17, Restful Webservices, Micro Services, KAFKA integration, Spring Cloud, CI/CD: Docker, Kuberbetes, and Cloud Technologies: PCF, Azure, Amazon, Google Cloud.

What's Needed?

  • 10-15 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 10-15 years of experience of Java.

  • LinkedIn Profile required.
