Genesis Corp dba Genesis10 Market Risk/Front office/Scrum Master: JC in Jersey City, New Jersey
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint reviews, planning and retrospectives
- Prepare for all scrum events to help drive efficiency during the events
- Remove or addresses process and technical impediments
- Facilitate productivity by removing impediments team will encounter, mediating through conflicts, helping team to make decisions and adhering to continuous improvement principles
- Leverage data to measure & monitor progress (Burndown charts etc. as being used by the organization) to increase the development effectiveness
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Jira and the ability to use JQL to write queries and set up various reports or dashboards
- Excellent technical skills in SQL, Excel
Desired skills:
- Strong Market Risk, Risk, or Front Office experience
- Strong financial markets product knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience of analyzing and validating large volumes of numerical data
Pay Range: $68.38 - $76.38
