As a Product Manager in Short Term Investments within Liquidity and Account Solutions, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Morgan Liquidity & Account Solutions ("L&AS") works with global clients with complex cash management needs who operates across multiple countries, currencies, legal entities, and time zones, including multi-national corporations, high-growth technology companies, commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, central banks and broker dealers. Our advanced, end-to-end solutions which combine physical, notional and virtual techniques enable our clients to achieve visibility, control and optimization of working capital.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Defines, communicates, and executes the Liquidity Solutions Off-Balance Sheet Product Strategy which includes product offering, marketing message and platform rationalization, engage with the Sales and Sales Specialist teams to understand client patterns, usage, and requirements as it pertains to excess cash and short-term investments
Ensures product suite meets current market needs and is marketed in an appropriate way to optimize balances, create standard marketing materials, training materials, user guides, onboarding procedures
Supports Sales and Sales specialist teams through subject matter expertise, client solutioning, and product demos, identify product opportunities and develops/ socializes compelling business case for new projects
Provides detailed business requirements to Product Delivery and Technology partners for any development projects and works within the Waterfall and Agile Project Delivery Framework (PDF) Methodology to bring new product to market, and communicate progress of development and ready to launch program elements to management team and key stakeholders; be accountable for project deadlines and delays
Understands regulatory landscape and anticipates changes that may impact products
Maintains close partnership with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit partners to identify, escalate and remediate risk items as needed
Develops reporting to track key performance indicators such as revenue realization, segment penetration and product/ platform usages,manage staff; provide training, performs performance reviews, facilitates career development planning
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Positive and approachable leader who can influence, collaborate with and direct team members of different levels and of different business functions
Problem solver who can objectively review and understand issues; be tenacious in seeking quick, creative solutions
Strategic and Innovative individual who challenges the status quo and can be dynamic and adaptive in evolving industry/ market
Effective communicator who can turn complex concepts/ requirements into simple, clear language, critical thinker who can extract insights from data to drive business results

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Strong familiarity with Waterfall and Agile Project Delivery Framework (PDF) Methodology highly desirable
Project management and strategic planning background
Must be comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with money market funds or short-term investment products a plus
Bachelors Degree
