Location: 10 Hudson Yards, New York, NY

This position will initially be based in the IT Cosmetics – Jersey City, NJ office, located at 111 Town Square Place, with the understanding that this office and your position will be relocating to our Hudson Yards – New York office in the future, timing to be confirmed

    A Day in the Life

    Overview

    You are responsible for retail design creative visions and implementation. You develop guidelines and pilot projects with zones & countries. You create strategies that champion the retail customer experience.

    Responsibilities

  • Co-create the retail design strategy of the brand in partnership with the marketing & brand engagement teams.

  • Define global visual merchandising visions.

  • Implement the brand vision by reinforcing strong codes across various POS formats : Walls, Shop-in-Shops, Kiosks, Boutiques.

  • Stay relevant to design trends and consumer insights to drive innovation into our design visions to improve the consumer experience.

  • Collaborate closely with teams in Global Brand Innovation, Global Brand Engagement and wider stakeholders to ensure a cohesive 360 approach on all programs and define best content for in-store expression.

  • Execute impactful visions for launch displays.

  • Communicate the in-store strategy and act as a point of reference and communication for countries and zones. Follow the production of their local prototypes.

  • Gather post-campaign analysis and share learnings.

  • Manage the conception and production of World Wide Meeting prototypes

  • Development of graphic POS material.

  • Timely management and coordination of design, production and delivery of POS.

  • Manage projects within budget

    Requirements

  • 7+ years of related business experience

  • M.A in Space Design or Graphic Design

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility balanced with good marketing acumen.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and 3D modelling/rendering programs (Sketchup Pro or Autodesk 3d Studio Max)

  • Creative experience in designs and merchandising solutions for POS displays necessary.

  • Consumer package goods or beauty industry experience is preferred

  • Collaborative skills

  • Project Management Skills

  • Prioritization & Organization Skills

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and convincing oral presentation.

  • Demonstrated L’Oréal Competencies: Leadership, Entrepreneurial, Management, Achiever, and Innovator

  • Strong appreciation for our business / sensitivity to Makeup métier/Creative mindset

    What We Offer

  • Salary Range : $139,700-$199,100 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.)
