We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an FP& A Manager in the financial services industry, located in Jersey City, NJ. The FP& A Manager will be responsible for a range of duties, including maintaining our financial models, providing insights to stakeholders, and managing financial planning processes. This role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in various financial software.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning tools to support decision-making.

• Serve as a financial point of contact for stakeholders across multiple functions, providing guidance on performance, pricing, KPIs, and ad-hoc analytics.

• Develop key metrics to track growth initiatives and identify areas of improvements in profitability and cost productivity.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to create conceptual data models and data flows, ensuring consistency within the system.

• Evaluate existing data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency, and propose appropriate solutions.

• Translate business needs into long-term solution data models, optimizing and updating logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.

• Analyze past financial performance, prepare competitor analysis, and examine market trends, providing commentary for management.

• Implement data strategies and develop physical data models, reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.

• Troubleshoot and optimize data systems, ensuring high data quality and reduced redundancy.

Requirements • In-depth knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Proficiency in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Expertise in Cash Flow Modeling

• Strong skills in Financial Modeling

• Experience with Forecasting & Modeling

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Ability to carry out Strategic Planning

• Proficiency in Variance Analysis

• Previous experience in the Mortgage Companies industry would be advantageous

• Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required

• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

• Relevant professional certifications (such as CFA, CPA) would be a plus

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
