There's a career-building position for a Senior Accountant at Robert Half, specifically a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity. Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Main Duties

• Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Other projects as required

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives

• Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliation

  Requirements

• Skilled with ERP systems

• BA/BS in Accounting

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards

• Analyze Financial Statements experience

• Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

• Bank Account Reconciliation experience

• Foundational knowledge in budgeting

• Excel Formulas experience highly desired

• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

• Minimum 5 years of overall general accounting experience
