Centene Corporation Curriculum Designer in Jefferson City, Missouri

Position Purpose: Design, implement and maintain training resources. Write, update, evaluate, and propose training programs supporting technical process documentation, operational systems, e learning, and website development.

Work samples utilizing Articulate 360 will be reviewed as a part of the interview process.

*This role is fully remote. Candidates will be considered nationally. *

Responsibilities:

  • Design instructional strategies, activities, and materials that support performance and learning within Medical Management teams.

  • Create, implement and update high quality e-learning, video, audio, leader’s guides for instructor led courses, virtual course materials, PowerPoint presentations, tool kits, study guides, and performance support tools.

  • Design using latest design software and tools for rapid prototyping, including Articulate 360, Adobe CC, WellSaid labs, Camtasia, Adobe PDF or Nuance, GoAnimate/Vyond, and Getty images.

  • Outline and deliver timely training project plans.

  • Design and maintain training websites and resources

  • Assist in the development of instruments to assess individual change in knowledge, skills and quality results

  • Conduct reviews of training program objectives assessing the need for modifications to content and structure

  • Conduct user and industry research and assess business needs to recommend and incorporate related updates into the standard curriculum

  • Facilitate training as needed to support operational goals

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in instructional design related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of curriculum design or training development experience. Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies, learning technologies and adult learning principles. Experience designing curriculums in adult learning settings. Curriculum development in the healthcare industry and project management experience preferred. Website design, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate and clinical experience highly preferred.

Pay Range: $26.50 - $47.59 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
