Oracle AI Partner Sales Specialist - Government & Education in Jefferson City, Missouri

Job Description

As a highly qualified candidate, you will already be familiar with relevant partner participants, including industry practice leadership at key partners, key industry ISV relationships and have experience with the current trends and issues in the infrastructure and AI cloud marketplace for Government & Education. You will leverage this experience, particularly as it relates to industry requirements, to position Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AI services to innovate and differentiate partner go-to-market solutions and frameworks.

Additionally, you will have a functional knowledge of the information systems and technology capabilities typically used to drive the core business and organizational processes and systems of record in Government and Education and have gained experience in a partner led transformation program that involved in whole or in part, a technology transformation to the cloud!

Responsibilities

This is a position that involves entrepreneurial leadership, strong technical depth, analytical thinking, creative instinct, and notoriety in Government (US SLED & Fed) and partner leadership. Success in this role will require industry and partner knowledge and experience, and a deep technical understanding of and ability to communicate Oracle’s cloud infrastructure and AI differentiation with compelling clarity as well as having strong sales and partnering skills. You should be well-known to the industry as a thought leader and a critical connector of strategic partnerships within the industry. Key role objectives are:

  • Identify, recruit and onboard critical partners to drive strategic deals for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AI into the Government market.

  • Architect partner delivered Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AI native solution offerings and frameworks in support of customer mission pain points.

  • Work with the partner account teams to develop internal understanding and alignment to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and its AI differentiators as a platform for their work

  • Develop partner bench capacity with skills and familiarity with Oracle Infrastructure cloud native and AI technologies.

  • Build and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure & AI Goals, Objectives and Strategies as an integrated plan across the Government and Education market.

  • Tight collaboration and GTM alignment with Oracle sales teams

Competencies

  • Demonstrated technical expertise in infrastructure cloud native and AI frameworks, Oracle and non-Oracle

  • Executive presence and presentation skills

  • Current relationships with key partners (Oracle and Non-Oracle) in the SLED and Fed Markets

  • Proven ability to recruit and onboard new cloud infrastructure and AI partners

  • In depth understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AI services and differentiators

  • Ability to execute and deliver against business goals with a high degree of confidence, maturity, tactfulness, and business ethics.

  • Clear and compelling ability to create new partnership activity based on mutual value creation for the customer and the partnership goals with a strong technical orientation towards solution building.

  • Strong leadership qualities. Able to lead, develop, motivate, and empower cross-functional teams who contribute to the success of the company. This individual is a self-starter that operates independently with little supervision and has strong planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills and can organize across reporting lines of partner and Oracle.

  • Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage the business in a matrix organization. This individual has the ability to take in customer feedback, including sensitive inquiries, issues, and complaints, and respond diplomatically.

  • Business acumen – Able to quickly understand the business, its issues, take ownership to develop and execute a strategy with the team that positively transforms the business and drives operational excellence and increased revenues. Strong business and commercial acumen and strategic agility

  • Strong experience in creating new partnerships and finding new opportunities between existing partners as a recurrent and renewable source of value.

  • Experience; 10+ years of direct experience in building and operating strategic partnerships with recent experience in Cloud Infrastructure and AI partnerships with Oracle, Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited College or University in a Technology or Business Discipline.

  • Certifications in Cloud Infrastructure, AI, GenAI, or RAG

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $110,000 to $207,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
