Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Urban Planning Senior Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to join our team to provide technical support and expertise in the detailed Masterplanning of a significant mixed-use land development project for our client.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive Masterplans for large-scale mixed-use land development projects, integrating urban design principles, infrastructure requirements, and sustainability goals.

• Provide technical guidance and expertise in urban planning, land use regulations, zoning codes, and environmental considerations to optimize project outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, landscape architects, engineers, and government agencies to ensure alignment of project objectives and regulatory compliance.

• Oversee the execution of project deliverables, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget constraints.

• Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices in urban planning, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all planning documents, presentations, and deliverables, adhering to company guidelines and industry standards.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in urban planning and design, with a focus on large-scale mixed-use land development projects and a minimum of 7 years experience in GCC(KSA Ideally)

• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex urban planning projects from concept to completion.

• Strong technical proficiency in urban planning software and tools such as GIS, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Professional licensure or certification in urban planning or related field is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, resilience, and equity in urban development initiative.
