Triumvirate Environmental (BestPlus), one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an (on site) Janitor/Facilities Technician for our Jeannette, PA team. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm (schedule is subject to change). This detail-oriented, highly motivated, driven individual will be responsible for daily cleaning and facilities work. Our BestPLUS recycled plastic lumber business is part of a larger strategy to help customers become greener and more sustainable. We've developed a proprietary process that converts a variety of waste materials into multiple grades and profiles of plastic lumber for many applications and markets. Our products and solutions have been well-received by the market. We are looking for a high energy sales pro to help us reach more customers and geographies. Essential responsibilities: o Remove trash and garbage inside and outside of the building. o Sweep sidewalks, shovel sidewalks during winter months. o Clean and sanitize all restrooms, including floors, toilets, sinks, mirrors, etc. o Bare floor maintenance -- Sweep, wash, mop, strip, wax, buff. o Carpet floor maintenance -- Vacuum, clean. o Clean tables, desks, chairs, kitchen equipment, including countertops, microwaves, coffee machines, door handles, etc. o Stock all kitchen supplies (plates, cups, utensils, condiments, coffee machines, etc.) o Clean walls, trim, fixtures, windows, and glass doors. o Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot. o Operate and maintain small engine equipment, lawn, and garden tools. o Inspect all areas for safety, e.g. lighting, entrance, exits, emergency lighting, clear walkways. o Inventory cleaning supplies, tools, equipment, and order needed items. o Change light bulbs, perform minor repair work. o Inspect all buildings for needed maintenance; notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. o Operate cold weather equipment - snow plow, salt spreaders, snow blowers, shovels. o Paint, inside and outside. o Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests o Other duties as assigned. This is a safety sensitive position. Basic Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a repetitive basis. • Must be able to stand up to 8 consecutive hours a day. • Self-motivated person with the desire to learn. • Successful completion of OSHA/ DOT physical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening.
