We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in Indiana. The successful candidate will be a crucial part of our team, providing technical assistance on Mitel voice systems, managing customer relationships, and driving project designs and implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions for complex issues related to Mitel voice systems.

• Implement, manage and maintain the health and performance of clients’ Mitel voice systems.

• Act as the primary point of contact for client service repair and maintenance needs, either remotely or on-site.

• Coordinate and execute software and hardware upgrades as well as system patches.

• Respond to and resolve alerts generated by remote monitoring tools.

• Design and implement new solutions into client environments.

• Contribute to the refinement of client documentation and troubleshooting guides.

• Provide Level III support for clients and field support teams.

• Participate in strategic reviews or project implementation activities at client sites.

• Mentor Level 1 and 2 Field Support teams within areas of expertise.

• Record events, problems and their resolution within our support systems.

• Make recommendations for optimizing clients’ voice networks based on assessments of their environment.

• Be part of an on-call rotation schedule, responding promptly to client's needs.

Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.

• Proficient in using Mitel systems.

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of system engineering concepts, principles, and theories.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.

• Experience in installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.

• Proficiency in system security and data backup/recovery.

• Ability to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Must be highly motivated and have a strong commitment to job completion and project success.

• Proven experience with troubleshooting and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.

• Willing to stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and technical developments.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.

• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with key stakeholders.

• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills.
