JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for verifying piece part & assembly conformance to the required specifications. Support the production team and share ownership for the overall performance of multiple product lines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitor production assembly processes focusing on improving efficiency. 2. Participate in production team meetings to help drive continuous improvement. 3. Establish/monitor inspection plans based on customer required acceptance criteria. 4. Strong communication and organizational skills required. 5. Ensure compliance to customer requirements as well as AMTEC\'s Quality Management System. 6. Will be working with a large range of personnel such as Engineers, Manufacturing personnel, various management resources and representatives from the U.S.G. 7. Provide Engineering assistance for lot acceptance test requirements. 8. Write and incorporate detailed work instructions. 9. Plan and conduct quality audits while conveying findings through formal reporting. 10. Provide guidance as necessary to Quality Technicians. Due to the nature of the work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives) approval. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Prospective candidates should have knowledge of quality systems and problem solving skills (ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Failure Analysis).
