About your new role: As the HR Benefits Specialist, you will administer all company offered benefit programs and lead in the resolution of benefit issues for Prent & GOEX employees. Stay up to date with benefit laws and regulations and new benefit trends. Complete regular reporting for ACA, EEO-1, etc. Maintain leave programs, including but not limited to FMLA. Work closely with the Payroll Department to be able to process payroll as a backup when needed. Assist with recruitment efforts and employee event planning. Work under minimal supervision with a variety of confidential information and data. Assist with special projects as assigned. Hours: Monday Thursday, 8:00am 5:00pm (32 hours per week) What you\'ll receive: As a full-time Prent employee you\'ll be competitively compensated, based on experience. Will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Current knowledge of Benefit trends and practices. Two (2) or more years of HR experience with a benefits emphasis. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including spreadsheet and word processing. Ability to work under tight deadlines, accurately completing assigned tasks with constant interruptions. Effective verbal and written communicator with all levels of the organization. Reasonable tact, discretion, self-expression, and a working knowledge of the organization. Must be very organized and able to switch priorities with minimal notice. Familiar with working in HRIS and other systems. Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external customers. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent prioritizing and organizing skills. Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must project a fair, professional image to employees and applicants. Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and detail orientation.
