Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a leading manufacturer of aerosol cans for home care, automotive, and repellant products, we provide a dynamic and growing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and adjusting mixing machines, blending machines, and steam kettles, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust mixing machines, blending machines, and steam kettles.

• Measure or weigh ingredients accurately.

• Observe products and adjust oven temperatures, humidity, or conveyor speeds accordingly.

• Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met.

• Ensure equipment meets health and safety regulations, and perform maintenance or cleaning as necessary.

• Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operating and machine setup.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Skills in mixing and blending.

• At least 6 months of experience in a machine operating role.

• Ability to use a tape measure and read blueprints.

• Experience with packaging machines and quality inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic math skills.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to climb stairs, bend, and stand for long periods.

• Capability to lift 50+ lbs.

Work Environment

1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30am-2:30/3:30pm (depending on the line). Overtime may be required based on production demands. The facility is well-lit, clean, automated, and climate-controlled.

2nd and 3rd shift may be available depending on need.

This is a Permanent position based out of Edgerton, Wisconsin

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
