Purpose/Description (Carpenter Shop Specialties)

• Custom Interior Packages for Step Van or Straight Trucks
• Special Made Shelving and Cabinets
• Attend Trade Show Displays
• Identify/work with the Quality Oak Cabinets
• Superior Quality Finishes (Glass-Like)
• Commercial Grade Floor Installation
• Bungee Cord Ceilings
• Specialized Carpet Laying

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination
• Ability to work from schematics, rough sketches, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
• Good communication skills
• Understands specific work order flow
• Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to keep arms bent for prolonged periods of time
• Safely lift 35-40 pounds from a squatting position to a four-foot height
• Ability to use of all machinery and tools
• Frame to finish skills
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to perform high quality work with limited supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Takes pride in work.
• Self-Starter
• Knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsaw
• Possession of basic hand tools
• Capable of climbing on ladders

Education & Training/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship
