Join us in Jamestown, ND, where you'll lead as a Value Stream Leader at Interiors Cargo Systems. This pivotal role offers seasoned professionals in Program Management the chance to drive program development, lead our Integrated Project Team (IPT), and be the primary customer interface.

Although we prefer an onsite role type, we will also consider hybrid or remote working schedules from the Jamestown, ND facility.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive Profit and Loss accountability for large-scale program and project portfolios, maximizing financial outcomes and strategic impact.

  • Spearhead risk and opportunity management strategies to proactively navigate program challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

  • Lead program development through critical milestones and Entry into Service, orchestrating seamless transitions and achieving operational excellence.

  • Negotiate contracts and drive contractual changes, crafting compelling proposals and business plans that ensure legal compliance and safeguard organizational interests.

  • Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), guiding teams to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results.

  • Utilize data analysis to ensure program adherence to cost, schedule, and technical specifications, maintaining high standards of performance.

  • Present comprehensive plans and progress reports to Senior Leadership and Customers, conveying strategic insights and fostering stakeholder confidence.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using CORE, lean, or six sigma methodologies, enhancing efficiency and quality across programs.

  • Identify and resolve program challenges decisively, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts with customer objectives and deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations.

  • Requires up to 30% travel, including international, to support program objectives

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Experience

  • Engineering and large program development background

  • Program Management background

  • Operations background

  • Large original equipment manufacturer customer/program experience

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
