Were looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Entry-Level Property Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you enjoy working with your hands and have a knack for fixing things, this could be the perfect start to your maintenance career. What Youll Be Doing:

  1. Hands-On Repairs: Handle basic maintenance tasks like fixing plumbing issues, repairing electrical fixtures, and tackling carpentry jobs. Youll be the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly.
  2. Attention to Detail: Ensure that all repairs are completed with care and leave the property looking its best.
  3. Problem Solver: Address issues as they arise, recommending solutions and taking the initiative to get the job done right.
  4. Team Support: Assist with larger projects and collaborate with more experienced technicians to learn and improve your skills.
  5. Property Upkeep: Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property by removing debris, maintaining landscaping, and reporting any larger maintenance needs.
  6. Continuous Learning: Stay engaged in ongoing training to sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge in property maintenance.
  7. Safety First: Always prioritize safety, using the necessary gear and following safety protocols.

What You Bring to the Table:

  1. Tools and Basics: You have your own basic hand tools and are ready to learn. A valid drivers license, vehicle, and insurance are also required.
  2. Self-Starter: Youre good at managing your time, following procedures, and taking initiative to solve problems.
  3. Communication Skills: You can interact effectively with residents and team members alike.
  4. Mobility: Comfortable traveling between multiple properties as needed.

Your Background:

  1. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. No prior experience is necessary, but any hands-on experience or vocational training in maintenance or construction is a plus.
  2. Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop specialized skills, such as HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry, through on-the-job training.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Outdoor Work: Be prepared to work in various weather conditions.
  • Safety Focus: We emphasize a safe work environment and expect you to do the same.
  • Physical Strength: Regularly lift 20 to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Frequent walking, bending, stretching, and reaching will keep you active.
