Job Summary

Embark on a hospitality adventure as our Hospitality Ambassador for the new premium lounge at JFK. In this role, you'll craft exceptional dining experiences and lead operations from the ground up. If you're a hospitality expert with a flair for innovation and eager to make your mark in our exciting new venture, join us in creating exceptional dining experiences.

As a Hospitality Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have an exceptional experience by maintaining high standards in service and facility management. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, uphold superior food and beverage quality, and lead the team with excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards in service and facility management.

  • Schedule, train, manage, and develop staff.

  • Oversee budget and inventory management.

  • Train and supervise staff in alcoholic beverage service.

  • Assist with catering events related to shows.

  • Maintain positive relationships with staff, venue clients, and the production team.

  • Coordinate with managers to ensure appropriate staffing and attendance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing teams and demonstrated strong communication skills.

  • Excellent computer skills, self-motivation, planning skills, and the ability to make timely and competent decisions.

  • Ability to manage large inventories and budgets.

  • Flexibility to work business hours, including late afternoons, nights, and weekends.

  • Quick problem-solving abilities and a desire to lead.

  • Attention to detail while maintaining creativity.

  • Knowledge of the hospitality business and market trends.

  • College degree and management experience, particularly in the beverage industry, preferred.

  • Certifications in service training, alcohol service, safe food handling, and first aid.

  • Knowledge of state and local alcohol laws.

  • Willingness to work an events-driven schedule.

As a Hospitality Ambassador, your focus will be on creating memorable experiences for guests, ensuring smooth operations, and leading a dedicated team to uphold the highest standards of service.
