Are you an HR Generalist with a strong focus on Payroll and Compensation & Benefits? In this role, you’ll ensure competitive and compliant C&B strategies, work closely with clients, and apply your knowledge of Indonesian regulations to drive HR excellence.

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) to join our team in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will be grounded in local employment regulations, especially within the C&B framework, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail and numbers.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development, implementation, and administration of C&B programs to maintain market competitiveness and compliance with Indonesian labor laws.

  2. Manage payroll-related activities and ensure accuracy in payroll data, deductions, and compliance with statutory requirements.

  3. Conduct regular C&B benchmarking and analyze data to recommend adjustments, ensuring equity and alignment with market trends.

  4. Oversee employee benefits, manage relationships with benefits providers, and provide support in benefits administration and communications.

  5. Act as a key HR point of contact for designated client portfolios, including Project Logistics, Finance, and IT, providing HR support aligned with strategic business objectives.

  6. Partner with client groups to address workforce planning, talent management, performance issues, and employee relations.

  7. Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement, retention, and career development programs.

  8. Ensure compliance with Indonesian employment laws and company policies, especially in C&B practices.

  9. Handle conflict resolution and employee relations issues with professionalism, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and compliance.

  10. Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide guidance to clients on compliance-related matters.

  11. Collaborate with hiring managers and talent acquisition teams on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.

  12. Support onboarding for new hires, especially in C&B processes, ensuring smooth integration and clarity on compensation and benefits.

  13. Use HR data and analytics to support decision-making, particularly in C&B. Track metrics related to compensation, benefits, employee turnover, and workforce trends.

  14. Generate reports on compensation trends, payroll data, and other key HR metrics for internal and external stakeholders.

  15. Travel to remote work sites as required to engage directly with employees and understand unique on-site HR needs, often requiring traditional modes of transport.

  16. Provide hands-on HR support in challenging and diverse field environments to address specific issues and foster a positive workplace culture.

Your Skills and Experiences

  1. 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits or Payroll.

  2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or a related field.

  3. Proficiency in payroll systems and HR software. Advanced knowledge of Excel or other data analysis tools is an asset.

  4. Strong English proficiency is essential.

  5. Strong data-driven approach, particularly in analyzing compensation and benefits trends and implementing HR solutions.

  6. Deep understanding of Indonesian labor laws, especially in C&B, with a high standard of integrity in managing sensitive HR matters.

  7. Comfortable with remote and on-site support, including traveling to challenging locations as required.
