We are looking for a Superintendent/SSHO/QCM to support our construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety and productivity of project labor and subcontractors.
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and direct field activities on commercial construction projects.
Supervise crews, material, and equipment, and coordinate installation of all trades work.
Coordinate with and provide input to the project team on scheduling, engineering, material control, and job productivity.
Monitor the status of the project, schedule, productivity, and costs.
Review and provide input on job costs and projection updates.
Inspect field conditions and ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
Identify deficiencies and take corrective action as needed.
Identify and correct quality issues.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
Maintain good client relations.
Use effective verbal and written communication skills.
Plan for starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction based on available tools and equipment and various building methods.
Prepare and submit government quality documents and daily reports on site conditions, progress, materials installed, and costs.
Procure tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of continuous construction safety experience in supervising/managing safety programs or processes, or conducting hazard analysis and developing controls.
QCM USACE Quality Certification and 2 years of experience in a Quality Control Manager position.
5 or more years of experience in construction and 3 years of superintendent experience.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
Strong computer aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Procore.
Work Environment
This position is on-site for Federal Construction Projects. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment that involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating various field activities. Attention to safety and productivity is paramount, and the role requires effective communication and strong organizational skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
