Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville-Camp Lejeune Area Housekeeper in Jacksonville, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Housekeeper is responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Inspector and the Executive Housekeeper in performing all duties and functions required for efficient operation of this Hotel in alignment with East Coast Hospitality LLC Mission, Vision and Values. This position reports to the Housekeeping Inspector, Executive Housekeeper, and General Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Performs cleaning in all guest areas and back of house.
  • Must be punctual and show attention to detail.
  • Responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable rooms. Must clean all assigned rooms and/or common areas as specified by Executive Housekeeper or Manager.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional follow-through consisting of strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Must follow proper procedures for handling of linens, terry and other supplies as well as reporting missing/ unusable items.
  • Assists other departments and completes additional duties when needed.
  • Reports necessary maintenance items.
  • Consistently follow through with guest requests and feedback.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Follows all policies and procedures, safety and sanitation policies.
  • Report all maintenance problems to Manager
  • Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
