POSITION SUMMARY:

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for assisting the Hotel Operations Manager and the General Manager in performing all duties and functions required for efficient operation of this Hotel in alignment with East Coast Hospitality LLC Mission, Vision and Values. This position reports to the Hotel Operations Manager and General Manager.

  • Transmit and receive telephone messages
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
  • Compute bills, collect payments, verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio
  • Must be able to accurately record guest information in property management system
  • Resolve and diffuse guest complaints within scope of authority: otherwise refer matter to management
  • Keep front desk area neat and tidy at all times
  • Special projects may be assigned by management
