Internship Overview:

As an intern on the Mechanical Integrity team at ATS, you will have the opportunity to partner with our Jacksonville Consulting Engineering group. The internship is going to include direct hands-on inspections, engineering evaluations and reporting related to chemical and other industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with leaders and other engineers/technicians on a variety of industrial inspections ensuring safety for our clients.

  • Common tasks performed will include, but not limited to: on-site inspections, engineering evaluations, CAD schematics, reports and other ad hoc support.

  • Opportunity to learn and apply Non-Destructive inspection industry standards and gain hands on experience.

  • This will include frequent on-site visits to a variety of industrial facilities with continuous exposure to the elements, heights, closed spaces and industrial environments.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Full-Time Student, ideally in a Mechanical, Civil, Industrial or Metallurgical Engineering Bachelor’s program

  • Comfortability being hands on and exposed to heights, closed spaces, heat and dusty industrial environments.

  • Experience with CAD, isometrics piping drawings and technical reports preferred

  • Strong interest in Mechanical Integrity, inspections

  • Strong attention to detail and safety procedures

  • Reliable transportation and clean DMV record
