Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to trucks, buses, and heavy equipment.

• Familiarity with Pacarr, Mercedes, Volvo, Isuzu, Cummins, and Allison engines.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Repair or replace defective parts, such as fuel injectors, pumps, and exhaust systems.

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

• CDL certification preferred.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
