Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves developing high-performance applications, automating complex tasks, and troubleshooting software issues. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the development and maintenance of critical software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software features using C++.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

• Collaborate with engineers and other teams to define technical requirements.

• Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing.

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.

• Automate tasks and processes using batch scripts.

• Maintain and improve the existing codebase.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest C++ developments and best practices.

• Utilize your skills in C++, Debug Software, and Hardware Troubleshooting to enhance our software development process. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer

• Proficient in the C++ programming language

• Demonstrable ability to debug software effectively

• Experience in hardware troubleshooting

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals

• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
