  • Work closely with the Sales Managers to capture new customers (accounts) within financial Account Trackers (update and maintain monthly). This requires updating latest forecast, year-to-date spending, and contract/agreement terms, as well as communication of program attainment to management.
  • Utilizing existing and new customer contracts, produce Account Adjustment Forms (customer check/credit memos) for Sales team and codify to conform to prescribed method for maintenance of records. Maintain annual updates and existing item allowance budget changes. Create new item names and system entry for budgeting purposes.
  • Inform Management of changes to customer contracts to ensure appropriate recognition of customer rebate expenses (trade promotion allowances) in the financial statements and forecast amendments.
  • Monitor and record deductions taken by customers. Obtain and validate adequate backup, log information in the Open Deduction database and send Open Deduction forms and backup to the Sales Managers for disposition (e.g., dispute resolution or credit memo issuance) .
  • Analyze, prepare, and manage the review of the monthly Open Deduction report with A/R. (Is analysis involved?)
  • Manage Trade Promotion Allowance (customer rebate) Accrual processing to include creating annual forms, payment tracking, monthly and quarterly reviews with Sales and Finance and communication of updates for monthly meetings.
  • Prepare annual TPA budget with comparison analysis and explanation for variances.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual customer program incentive reports.

  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of regional sales department budget spending.
  • Support initiatives which leverage technology to promote process change, to increase efficiency and clearly articulate the business requirementsfor ongoing improvements required to reinforce Account Management for all members of the Sales Organization.
  • Manage Display Budget Analysis including ongoing maintenance with Purchasing and Finance departments.
  • Prepare reports and analyses on an ad hoc basis to include reference summaries of customer shipments, annual sales and inventory status of displays assortment, and history of sample orders for budgetary purposes.
  • Assist and backup for projects in support of sales initiatives as needed.

education and experience requirements:
