Randstad is looking for an experienced counter representative with heavy-duty diesel and/or agricultural parts experience for a company on Jacksonville's Southside. You will assist customers by pulling parts, recommending alternatives based on stock levels, advertising, and stocking duties. Experience with heavy-duty equipment parts is a bonus. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with hourly pay between $18-22 an hour based upon experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer wth identifying the best parts needed for their needs.

• Assist in keeping the parts department clean and professional.

• Record all sales (including lost sales) and/or customer transactions using company-provided systems/tools (i.e. PFW) and guidelines.

• Assist in maintaining the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealership's standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Take a proactive approach to inventory control by assisting and or reporting discrepancies.

• Ensure internal and external customers receive the correct parts promptly.

• Receive, ship, and store parts as needed by DOT local, state, and federal guidelines.

• Proactively study and stay current on industry and product information.

• Mark and store parts in the stockroom according to prearranged system and assist with cycle count duties.

• Other duties as required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
