JPMorgan Chase Home Lending Data Owner Lead, Vice President in Jacksonville, Florida

As a Home Lending Area Data Owner you will be accountable for the data that supports business operations, strategic objectives, and analytics. Data Owners coordinate between data providers (Products) and consumers (e.g., analytics communities) to ensure business data is understood, integrated into analytics platforms, and used to maximize business value. Data Owners also identify and mitigate data risks throughout the data life cycle in compliance with policies and standards and ensure data is published to modern standards.

Job responsibilities

• Utilize data technologies such as data warehousing, data management & governance, data integration, big data, business intelligence, and machine learning

• Curate data from multiple sources to maximize business value

• Work with stakeholders to ensure data is understood and properly utilized to maximize value, understand the "story" behind the data

• Adhere to risk and control requirements and ensure data is published to modern standards

• Support business operations, strategic objectives, and analytics

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of related experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Expertise in data technologies such as data warehousing, data management & governance, data integration, big data, business intelligence, and machine learning

  • Understanding of business products, processes, and associated data.

  • Experience with risk and control requirements

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills

  • Good Home Lending Originations business acumen; Strategic thinker

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Understanding of Hadoop or AWS Cloud related technologies & services

  • Knowledge of query or analytical programming languages (SQL, Athena)
