Clean Harbors ERTS Trucking Program Manager in Jacksonville, Florida
The Program Manager- is responsible for providing the full range of support to successfully implement the organization’s efforts to assure proper preparedness and delivery services provided to assigned customers.
• This position is expected, at a minimum, a 40-hour work week. Additional hours will be required from time to time, depending on the status of the business.
• As a Program Manager it is expected that an emphasis be placed on productive use of time. This means minimizing time away from the workstation for smoking breaks, visiting with co-workers on a personal basis, and/or personal use of the telephones and internet.
• This position is exempt from overtime.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for implementation of customer programs and project management which includes managing staff to support business activities as necessary.
• Assure a program is implemented which supports the organization while providing services for customers.
• Drafting and maintaining a system of tracking operational plans that assure for the proper service quality to support customer.
• Develop and maintain a management system to assure for the organizations support of customers assigned which is consistent with organizational standards.
• Training internal stakeholders on topics related to support customer needs.
• Implement commercial strategies to assure profitability of services as it relates to customer base assigned.
• Schedule, develop and participate in meeting as necessary to support customer and company needs,
• Provides weekly reporting relevant to communicating staff, vendor and customer performance and progress to completion of initiatives outlined in strategic plans or directives from direct supervisor.
• Provide monthly financial reporting relative to project performance which includes revenue, cost and collections activities.
• Pursue and accomplish initiatives related to driving improved organizational project profitability performance as it relates to execution of projects and programs of influence.
• Perform other job-related duties as required by direct supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 6-10 of years of applicable industry experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field: Environmental Science, Chemistry, Waste Management, Health, Safety, Emergency Management, (or similar major) or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Direct hazardous material response experience is required.
• HAZWOPER, RCRA, DOT, OSHA training certificates required.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Experience with RCRA, OSHA and DOT Regulations.
• The candidate MUST possess strong time management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, & ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must be a team player and work to accomplish common goals in the department.
• Data entry, excellent written and verbal communication.
Skills/Knowledge:
• Must be computer literate, well versed in standard office word and spreadsheet programs, as well as software used by the organization.
• The candidate MUST possess strong time management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, & ability to manage multiple projects.
• The ability to pass a background check, are required.
• Ability to handle a high call volume, in a fast-paced environment dealing with emergency response calls.
• Capable of remaining calm, confident during stressful situations.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• They must be able to effectively communicate with others, including clients, ERTS/Hepaco employees and outside professionals.
• Able to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines.
• They must exemplify professionalism in personal appearance and demeanor.
