In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new materials for use in ophthalmic lenses used in the production of conventional and silicone hydrogels, as well as next-generation materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project teams in the development and optimization of reactive formulations.

  • Blend multi-component formulations and conduct stability and compatibility studies.

  • Perform monomer and polymer characterization, as well as photocuring studies.

  • Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to project teams.

  • Use statistical analysis to accurately present data and draw conclusions.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding and application of principles, concepts, and practices of materials research and characterization procedures.

  • College degree or equivalent in chemistry, materials science, or polymer science or a related scientific field.

  • Experience with formulations and raw material characterization is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.
