P rimary Job Responsibilities
Manages accounting activities of specific functions within the Shared Services team.
Reviews and approves work of individual accounting team members for month-end close
Supervises the monthly financial close process, including all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, leading financial reviews, and preparing internal month-end reports and reporting for Home Office
Prepares journal entries and reconciliations for higher-risk areas/accounts
Point of contact for Floqast (reconciliation software)
Ensures compliance with all finance policies, tax policies, records management requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Participates in the Records Retention process for the Shared Services Team.
Participates in/leads finance initiatives as they arise

Ensures appropriate staffing to meet department needs.
Utilizes recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent.
Delegates work according to employee’s abilities and skills.
Evaluates employee’s performance and plans for compensation actions in accordance with that performance.
Provides developmental opportunities through identification of internal and external training opportunities.
Creates opportunities for employee growth.
Provides continuous coaching regarding functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors)

R equired Education/ Experience
Minimum Bachelors-degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
5+ years financial analysis, accounting, or equivalent experience
MBA/CPA/CMA certification preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
System implementation experience preferred
R equired Skillsets
Strong attention to detail
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks/projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel 10%
