Kellanova Process Controls Engineer in Jackson, Tennessee

Are you passionate about process optimization and cutting-edge technology? We’re seeking a Process Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Jackson, TN plant. As a key member of our engineering and maintenance group, you ’ ll play a crucial role in enhancing our manufacturing processes through innovative control strategies. Your expertise will drive efficiency, safety, and quality while ensuring seamless operation of our PLC systems.

You’ll be working with the amazing team that produces Pringles and various crackers at the Jackson site. Projects you may be involved in include integration into Industry 4.0, safety improvements, cost savings measures, and advance data collection and utilization. The opportunities for advancement based on performance are in a way limitless as we have various senior and manager level roles in operations and engineering that you could develop into. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Process Controls and Information Systems Expert – You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficiency, quality, and data driven decision making occurs across the plant.

  • Utilizing Tools for Success – Deploying strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, Problem Solving, Process Mapping, etc. to deliver site OEE and cost savings goals.

  • Become a Technologies Expert – You’ll be a site leader for all things involving: Programmable Logic Controllers, Ladder Logic, Human-Machine Interfaces, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical sources of energies.

  • Drive Change – Enable capabilities for others to function as well as driving and support cost ideations and diagnostics. You will integrate system health and project monitoring to ensure sustainability of improvements.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • HS Diploma/GED and experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives

  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, IWS, HPO)

  • Experience involving Information Systems such as PLC, Programming, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization & influence others.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
