This position is responsible for managing all maintenance-related duties and MRO inventory control to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage all aspects of maintenance, facilities, tool room, and tool crib to ensure a safe, productive, and clean work environment.

  • Developing continuous improvements to reduce downtime & increase production uptime.

  • Manage capital projects using a structured method to achieve optimum investment decisions and achieve efficient and successful delivery of projects.

  • Develop & implement plans to improve the safety, appearance, and overall efficiency of this facility.

  • Closely monitor assigned budgets and make the necessary changes to stay within company goals.

  • Maintain discipline in the tool crib to ensure MRO inventory accuracy and reducing or eliminating unnecessary waste.

  • Provides training and continuous development on all maintenance personnel

  • Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hour week. At times, it may be necessary to work additional hours to accomplish the required tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as effectively communicating with management and direct reports. Should have the ability to recognize communication gaps and appropriately address them.

  • Must be flexibility and adapt to changes in the work environment as well as managing competing demands. May require flexible hours when necessary to reach company goals.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with a large variety of individuals, including production personnel, maintenance personnel, manufacturing engineers, management and outside contractors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field preferred

  • Must have 5+ years' experience in an industrial maintenance management role.

  • Experience in recruiting, training & supervising maintenance personnel in a large manufacturing facility

  • Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic & electrical systems in an industrial environment.

  • Prior experience implementing and maintaining a successful CMMS

  • Must have excellent computer skills, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Power Point, etc...
