Job Posting: TSG Support Technician (with Driving) - Jackson, MS

Are you an experienced IT professional with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for helping others? We have an exciting opportunity for a TSG Support Technician in Jackson, MS ! This is a full-time, contract position working the 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 2pm - 11pm) . The position offers a competitive pay rate of $22.75 per hour .

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technology support and troubleshooting for computer and telecommunication systems in assigned areas.

• Perform equipment exchange, inventory control, software installations, and program updates.

• Train users on supported hardware and software from both a technical and user perspective.

• Resolve computer-related issues, including hardware and software malfunctions.

• Use personal vehicle to travel and provide on-site support to customers and clients.

Requirements:

• Education : Associate’s Degree in Computer Science required (Bachelor’s preferred); A+ certification required.

• Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Soft Skills : Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for coverage or upgrades.

• Ability to shadow and learn from existing technicians during the training period, which may require flexible scheduling.

• Reliable personal vehicle for travel.

Pay Details: $22.75 to $30.70 per hour
