Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in JACKSON, Michigan. The role involves handling a variety of accounting duties, such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. The workplace is dynamic and requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, and various accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments.

• Utilize accounting software systems to perform daily tasks and duties.

• Manage various accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Handle billing functions and check processing tasks accurately.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

• Manage full cycle payroll activities and benefits administration.

• Prepare and submit union reports as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Skills in Check Processing

• Competence in using QuickBooks

• Experience in managing Full Cycle Payroll

• Knowledge in Benefits Administration

• Ability to prepare Union Reports
