Job Purpose

Medical support to improve public health by finding healthcare solutions for identified patients and customers through the appropriate and effective use of our products and services utilizing the highest ethical and compliance standards.

Main responsibilities

Responsible for supporting/implementing value added medical activities within their assigned therapeutic area and for providing strategic advice in support of business initiatives. In addition, there is a specific duty to self-assess risk for the domain of responsibility, and highlight risks to the n+1 direct manager in a timely manner

Medical Expertise

  • Support to ensure clinical and scientific information exchange with internal and external stakeholders (associations, health authorities, regulatory department, market access department etc.) to facilitate appropriate use of consumer healthcare (CHC) products.

  • Support to manage crisis accordingly with medical know-how in CHC area when needed.

  • To give strategic and scientific input and to ensure active involvement to regulatory and market access and business development activities in the related therapeutic areas.

Efficient Stakeholder Management

  • To ensure the effective continuous communication with KOLs and stakeholders and gain medical insights in the related therapeutic areas in line with the business strategy.

  • Support to manage stakeholder engagement for regulatory and market access activities in CHC area.

Data Generation and Scientific Exchange

  • Support planning and execution of the clinical and publication plans in the CHC area in line with the business strategy.

  • Supports the communication and usage of outcomes of clinical trials in different platforms by medico-marketing and sales teams.

Strategic Partnership

  • To play a business partner role with his/her medical team to constitute and support the execution of the medico-marketing strategies and the activities in the related therapeutic areas.

  • Proposes projects in line with the business strategy in the CHC area and supports approval process and ensures timely implementation when approved.

  • Takes active role as a team member in transversal projects in Sanofi Group planned according to company targets.

  • Supports the managing of the related Medical Affairs budget to execute medical plans in-line with the business strategy.

  • Abide by the requirements of the Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company

  • Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

  • Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role

Environmental and Safety Leadership

  • To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work. To comply with Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related processes and procedures, provide his/her team (if has) complying to these issues and audit them. Employees are therefore expected to:

  • Support and conform to Company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment

  • Report any accident, incident or near miss, whether it be of personal injury or property damage

  • Assist in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing measures to prevent recurrence

  • Thoroughly read all safety documentation issues by the Company and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to their manager.

About you:

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably University Degree in Medicine/Pharmacy

  • Fluency in English and Turkish

  • Preferably 8-10 years' experience in a similar position in pharma or FMCG
