Amazon TR Exports Account Manager , Global Selling in Istanbul, Turkey

Amazon offers services to sellers in multiple countries to sell on Amazon marketplaces/websites globally and grow multi-channel commerce. We are looking for an Account Manager as part of the Global Selling (Exports) team within Amazon Türkiye. Amazon Global Selling is an important initiative to grow the Amazon Marketplace sellers around the world, with the team focusing on helping Turkish sellers list on other Amazon global marketplaces. This person will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on a strategy to enable broad use of Amazon Services by Manufacturers and Exporters in Türkiye wishing to sell globally, and play a key role in influencing product selection on global Amazon marketplaces/websites. This business will play an important role in Amazon’s mission to be the place where customers can find and discover anything they want to buy on Earth.

We are building a team that is passionate about retail and eCommerce, embraces ambiguity with a fast-moving and trial-and-error mindset, and can understand sales operations in various countries while also engaging with leadership to prioritize resources and decisions. Working in a dynamic sales environment, the person in this team will be responsible for launching, listing, qualifying, negotiating and closing agreements with third-party sellers based in Türkiye to other Amazon Marketplaces. This position will be specific to new seller recruitment and pitching export opportunities to sellers. This positions’ success will be measured by the launches, product selection/listing and revenue your sellers bring to the platform. Responsibilities will include helping define target sellers & selection to list, establishing seller relationships, and drive the day-to-day interactions with these sellers in order to build long-term business opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and e-commerce challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to sellers of all sizes. The ability to earn trust and influence across global internal and external stakeholders including sellers, internal stakeholders and service providers, is crucial.

Your superior communication, organizational and technical skills will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, where you will have the autonomy to take full control and responsibility for achieving successful seller launches. Striking the balance of executional excellence to drive program success while Thinking Big to develop long-term solutions with multiple product and program teams is also essential. Effective documentation and review mechanisms are also important for expediting buy-in from leadership and internal teams where your input might be required. The successful candidate for this role will support unlocking the full potential of Turkish sellers success on the international stage.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understand Amazon Global Selling products and services and be able to articulate its functions and benefits to external audiences.

  • Investigate, learn, understand and execute in accordance with source and export customs regulations & laws and policies, providing guidance to sellers when necessary on export operations

  • Identify specific prospects/partners to approach, communicate the specific value proposition for their business and establish long-term, successful partnerships.

  • Seller recruitment, adding selection and managing revenues for the category/channel of sellers for origin and destination marketplaces

  • Working with industry bodies, manufacturers, online sellers and negotiating terms of trade to get more business.

  • Work closely with mid-level/senior executives at interested sellers to successfully negotiate deals and help in on-boarding.

  • Track and report performance using appropriate metrics. Achieve productivity and seller satisfaction targets

  • Planning of investments in stocks and marketing from sellers to ensure seller success.

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent account management capabilities to build Amazon Türkiye sellers exports business.

  • Well-founded knowledge in TR out exports, development and execution of cross border fulfillment across regions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration,Economics, Engineering or related degree.

  • Relevant work experience in exports business, consulting, key account management, eCommerce, Business Development or similar

  • Strong analytical skills allowing the interpretation of complex data sets using Microsoft Excel/SQL/PowerBI and experience in problem solving with data

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts simply.

  • Ability to drive successful projects with a wide range of people at all decision-making levels.

  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

  • Highly organized and results oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in exports business, consulting, key account management, eCommerce, Business Development or similar

  • Experience in sales or account management, especially supporting merchants

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • MBA/Master's Degree

  • Willingness to support program/product management teams to build TRMENA global selling from scratch.
