Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute the design of Pressurization, Ventilation and Lubrication Systems in aero-derivative engine programs using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements

  • Right size design efforts via working closely with CEO to meet tight deadlines while satisfying key requirements

  • Work closely/efficiently with global teams performing module and component level design adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product/program requirements

  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to design producible parts, understand procurement schedule and provide inputs as necessary on time

  • Contribute and adhere to daily management routine, standard work towards meeting team KPIs

  • Develop a project plan establishing work packages, milestones, objectives in accordance with program schedule, manage deliverables according to the up-to-date plan

  • Document lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Min Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, preferably from Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering departments

  • Min 10 years experienced in an aerospace related mechanical design role

  • Excellent command in English both verbal& written

  • Demonstrated skill in utilizing multiple engineering tools, UG NX, ANSYS, … and evaluating results per GE Aviation Design Practices and engineering judgment

  • Strong cross-functional teaming, coordination and communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated accountability, ownership skills and diligence in meeting commitments within tight schedules

  • Ability to guide and influence others

  • Knowledge of different engine platforms and architectures, able to make meaningful benchmarking to leverage for conceptual trade studies

  • Creativity, able to demonstrate multi-skilled execution
