Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Reefer and Pharma Customer Care Manager in Istanbul, Turkey

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Sea Logistics Reefer and Pharma Customer Care Manager at our office in Istanbul or Mersin. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and managing operations for our Perishables, Pharma, and DFN (Dried Fruits and Nuts) Clients. You will lead a dynamic team, ensure profitable operations, and drive sales initiatives while adhering to the highest industry standards.

Your Role

As the Sea Logistics Reefer and Pharma Customer Care Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our operations in these key sectors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial performance, developing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the Profit & Loss for Perishables and Pharma operations to ensure profitability.

  • Participate in development of new customers, operations and solutions in Perishables & Pharma

  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to enhance business strategies.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with the support of product teams.

  • Conduct Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs & QBRs) with major clients.

  • Ensure compliance with Kuehne + Nagel systems, guidelines, and industry standards.

  • Ensure all shipments meet PharmaChain standards for both export and import.

  • Update station teams on product, pricing, and contract changes; collaborate with QSHE to create and maintain a training plan.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Proven experience in logistics, particularly in Reefer and Pharma operations.

  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding and industry regulations.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers, customers, and internal teams.

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as necessary.
