GE Healthcare Logistics and Fulfillment Manager,Turkey and Central Asia in Istanbul, Turkey

Job Description Summary

GE Healthcare is looking for a talented leader to join EAGM logistics team as Logistics Leader Turkey and Central Asia who will lead Equipment and Service parts logistics, transportation, warehousing, operational excellence, fulfillment processes, lane/network optimization and design, logistics cost productivity and accuracy, on time delivery and last mile transport operations while ensuring end-customer satisfaction in context of aligning with service and equipment business priorities. Leader will also execute international transportation and route optimization, will operate and be in charge of receiving shipments from manufacturers, distribution and consolidation center(s) in terms of accuracy and compliance of Turkey and Central Asia region entry transactions, documentation and record keeping. Leader will own all other warehouse operations in region countries, inventory accuracy and stocktaking, management of 3rd party logistics service provider(s) along with relevant internal stakeholders, executing w2w logistics flow and transactions complying with trade compliance rules at regional and global scale while liaising with customs and other internal stakeholders to ensure minimum cross border delivery cycle time, streamlining and overseeing distribution channel network to increase logistics service level for end customer in line with equipment and service business prioritization, operational KPIs through lean daily management and VMS. Leader will explore, design and materialize delivery strategies in region countries while truly focusing on end-customer satisfaction.

What will you do as a Logistics Leader Turkey and Central Asia?

In context of above, you will lead Logistics to and within your region Turkey and Central Asia for service and equipment parts. You will closely collaborate with the Turkey and Central Asia Services and Equipment leadership teams to run an operation tailored to the customer’s requirements, liaising with global planning and manufacturing teams to optimize fulfillment, inventory levels and costs. You will lead a team of 5 logistics specialists located in the region. You will closely collaborate with EAGM and wider international region peers in logistics, services, equipment and other relevant functions to define priorities & drive improvements in your region. You will execute and streamline delivery and fulfillment activities while ensuring full compliance in trade compliance rules in force at regional and global scale where relevant. You will lead your team as one integrated team for logistics processes for both equipment and service businesses to unify and standardize operations, to benefit from scale in terms of variable cost productivity, warehousing, efficiency, cost accuracy, transportation and fulfillment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leading daily logistics operations for equipment and service parts fulfillment, productivity, transportation, and local warehouses management and other 3rd party management,

  • Inventory physical counting process and inventory accuracy,

  • Collaboration with the region equipment and services organization to run an operation tailored to the end customer’s requirements while balancing fulfillment and OTD, inventory levels and operational costs,

  • Lead a team of 5 logistics specialists, located in the region

  • Team work with EAGM/International peers and other relevant stakeholders to define priorities & drive improvements and exchange best practices

  • Executing entire logistics flow and activities complying with trade compliance requirements both regional and global scale, liaising with customs and other internal stakeholders to ensure minimum cross border delivery cycle time,

  • Streamlining and overseeing distribution channel network to increase logistics service level for end customer in line with region equipment and services business guidance,

  • Owning operating KPIs through lean daily management and VMS

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership skills, proven track record of international operations management, good communication skills and an unlimited will to transform, improve and grow a team and its operation using lean to deliver continuous improvements,

  • Ability to manage internal customer’s expectations and satisfaction, resilient and result oriented,

  • Fluent in Turkish and English

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and businesses

  • Result oriented attitude, problem-solving mindset, fast and outcome focused response to business stakeholders, strong urgency management, accountability, and prioritization skills

  • Strong team player with project management and lean skills

  • This role requires significant experience in the Logistics. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
