Microsoft Corporation Strategic Account Technology Strategist - Financial Services in Issy Les Moulineaux, France

In your role as an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) for BNP Paribas, you will spearhead the global technology strategy for one of our most significant Financial Services Clients.

As ATS for the largest bank in the Euro zone, your mission will be to align our technological solutions with the customer's business objectives and challenges.

You will serve as a global technology advisor, aiding the bank's digital transformation with a focus on industry relevance and leveraging Microsoft's comprehensive capabilities. You will oversee the senior technology relationship to steer the customer's CIO, CTO, CDO and Business Lines CEOs.

Moreover, you will direct communication and objective synchronization among the technology specialists team, ensuring effective global customer success. This position will empower you to forge a lasting partnership with BNPP leaders on an international scale by assisting in the formulation of a digital transformation strategy, co-creating innovative business models, and utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.

Responsibilities

As an Account Technology Strategist, you spearhead the development and implementation of technology strategies that drive digital transformation and adoption, proactively addressing technical challenges. You craft long-term plans that leverage insights into business objectives and industry trends, ensuring customer success and increased Microsoft cloud usage.

In addition, you lead the generation of demand and development of opportunities by utilizing industry best practices and partnerships, engaging with key stakeholders to envision account strategies and manage the consumption pipeline for sustained momentum.

Moreover, you navigate customers through the AI landscape, customizing strategies to meet their business needs and establishing Microsoft as a visionary leader. You serve as a Technology Mentor, recommending solutions and aligning Microsoft's offerings with customer requirements to facilitate business transformations and expand market presence.

Your responsibilities also include coordinating global teams to collect data, monitor performance indicators, and pinpoint potential risks. You collaborate with customers and partners to integrate Microsoft technology into their banking and financial services, offering innovative solutions.

With a deep understanding of Microsoft's product ecosystem, solutions, and strategic direction, you represent the customer's perspective and advocate for their interests across all organizational levels.

You analyze the comprehensive needs of the bank, advising on gaps that Microsoft solutions can fill. You lead digital transformations for this account, shaping customer business strategies. You leverage experience and strategic foresight to lead technical teams by driving opportunities with Specialist Team Unit (STU), Customer Success Unit (CSU), and others, as necessary.

Furthermore, you partner with high-level executives in customer organizations to demonstrate how Microsoft's advanced technology and services will surpass competitors in meeting future business requirements.

You contribute to the creation of stakeholder maps, orchestrate coverage plans, and develop execution frameworks for the account, aligning with quota attainment, consumption goals, and identifying customer consumption gaps to inform strategic objectives.

Lastly, you utilize both existing and new readiness resources, showcasing expertise in creating enablement plans for large, high-stakes customers and the broader Microsoft business.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 8+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 15+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building,

o OR related technical/sales/industry experience

o OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.

  • 5+ years experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.

  • 5+ years experience leading technical, support, and IT projects
